We hope that has left its mark—and shown how doable it is to accurately represent the diversity that exists within the security industry—all while creating a substantive event where speakers share their professional findings…

The verdict is in. has set the bar for all conferences. I’ve been doing 20+ years and it’s been a LONG time since I’ve felt this inspired! Overwhelmed. Lots to process. Proud to support this event.

We are at the point where most conference organisers have learned a Code of Conduct is a must-have. Sadly, this has resulted in a wave of mindless copy-pasting of Open Source CoCs without any preparation to actually enforce one. And it shows.

Fascinating talk from about why we’re all stuck on “accessibility 101” in tech, and can’t seem to get to 102. Now thinking more about the value of design systems & building accessibility into the markup of the types.🤔

I'm really enjoying every. single. talk so far. I need more conferences to unpack how diverse communities manage security in context.

“One of the simplest things companies can do is change language from ‘maternity leave’ to ‘parental leave’. This increases equality and when fathers take new baby leave, it removes some of the stigma from new moms taking time off.” -
