still a couple open todos (SEO, little styling pieces here and there) to do, because I basically ripped out the entire (messy) React codebase from inside the old Rails app. the cool part - the site is now open-source! 👀

the site rewrite is done! ⛔️ Rails ⛔️ Postgres ⛔️ Redis ⛔️ Kubernetes ✅ ✅ ✅ ✅ ✅ deploys are easier, safer, faster. not many moving parts to keep track of - static sites are 👌 lighthouse audit is 🤩

Today I shut off Slack and (mostly) Twitter and started recording my React Native talk (about ). It’s coming up next week. I think it’s going to be pretty good. If not I’ll give you your ticket cost back guaranteed. (ByteConf is free if anyone doesn’t know)

It's been really great being part of this year! It was my first time doing "live coding". I liked it so much that I think I'll be now streaming more on Twitch / Egghead while I am doing various RN/Mobile/Reason work. Would you be interested in something like that?

Idea 💡 Twitch is good for live events, but the bulk of our audience is on Twitter, and long-term, probably YouTube 👎 The downside to this is that it splits the chat across multiple places Any thoughts from past attendees especially? 👋

It was such a great conference! Will definitely join once again in the future! The remote format makes a lot of sense and it’s super inclusive! Proud I could’ve been part of such great initiative.
