some already got infected, others are braving the risks; on the other hand, they have to face the increasing pressure from patients’ families who desperately seek to get their beloved ones tested and hospitalized. Yet frontline HCW workers don’t have the power to make decision.

According to some Chinese journalists, they’re also asked to keep their mouths shut to media. They’r left to deal with all these pressures all by themselves on top of long hours of work everyday.

Sina Weibo are taking down these videos, as well as photos showing HCW’s simple New Year Eve dinner: instant noodles, some snacks - possibly because they’re too “negative” for the festive atmosphere displayed in the CCTV new year gala.

I need to make it clear in this thread again: the photo in the first tweet says Wuhan No4 hospital’s emergency department stops seeing patients, as medical staff have been infected. But Hubei local broadcaster clarified that the department has NOT closed and service continues.
