For the record I filed with “Filets-o-Fish” and copy editor extraordinaire set me straight: McDonald’s corporate dictates that the plural style is “Filet-o-Fishes”

We’re working on visual indicators for the Console's Enter key behaviour to show whether Enter will evaluate, or produce a new line for incomplete expressions. Which of these designs do you like best? —

"Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords" is sounding increasingly like a pretty good basis for a system of government tbh

Not that I've been told… I don't know what salaries are like in Berlin vs random places in the US, but our Compensation team is aiming to be competitive in all the places we hire people.

For the record, Mozilla follows the laws of whatever country you're hired in, so if you're based out of Berlin, you have much more protection than our US employees… (As a Canadian, I've heard about a lot about the varying parental leave policies, for instance. 😉)

I just noticed that the website hasn't changed (yet). Maybe they're trying to drive traffic to it, by making the app only useful for posting, not reading? 😆

(I also apologize to the design team. It looks like you've done a lot of work on it, and it sucks to get the kind of reaction you're getting. I wonder why this didn't show up in your user testing.)

I'm really looking forward to the new layout… (I mean, it seems unusable, but I haven't had the chance to do much with it yet, and if it's as bad as it looks, I'll be happy to have one fewer social network to check. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
