I don't think she meant it as an insult. But when people tell you a phrase is derogatory to them, is it difficult to modify your speech? I learnt that ofe mmanu is insulting to the Yorubas and I simply deleted it from my vocabulary.

Hausa people told us they find 'aboki' derogatory, I modified my speech. Yourubas said 'ofe mmanu' is offensive, again I modified my speech. If Igbos tell you that they find the tone of 'Omo Ibo' offensive, just modify your speech too.

We are saying the same thing boss. Not everyone is as strong as you are, remember. The pain you bear can break another person.

Yes. A naive person is often referred to as 'a John' hence the term JJC. So if someone's name is John and you use the tone of John the naive person, then you are being derogatory.

Communication is more than just words. Body language, tone and context contribute more than words. The meaning of GOAT depends on the context, could be a compliment or an insult.

Jack communication is not just words. Body language, tone and context are important. Calling you a goat can either be a compliment or an insult depending on my tone or the context.

Suarez, Ribery, Robben, Lewy, Iniesta and Xavi would have won Balon d'Or if those two beasts didn't exist. They were so unfortunate to be Ronaldo and Messi's contemporaries

You have a point bro. But I want to let you know that clinical depression is a disease that is treated by psychiatrists and therapists. Blaming him is like blaming someone for having diabetes. Meanwhile, not everyone can bear some pain. Not everyone is tough.
