photoelectric interaction is a motivation for the black blob. the epoxy used often contains glass beads to make it tougher. however, if inspection is desired, in many cases a clear epoxy could be used.

Can we build trustable hardware? I think it’s possible if we: 1) simplify the hardware 2) verify the entire system, not just chips 3) empower users to check and seal their devices Our new Betrusted project embodies these principles, read more at:

A few years ago, I crowdfunded and published "The Essential Guide to Shenzhen". It's now out of stock, so I've decided to share the PDF. Thank you to all my supporters who made this possible!

It's a good value for what you get tho...compare to e.g. , which doesn't have the same voltage range or power output, primitive UI, and harder to program...it's a rare case of an open source product that's unequivocally better and cheaper than the pro alts.

It's also like a mini-oscope; the plot of current over time is invaluable for debugging everything from battery charging to CPU power states. The 40V range is great. Oh and it's open...more confidence in my calibrations; can consult the source for clarification, repair, upgrade..

I love my EEZ H24005 benchtop supply, but it was only available for a limited time... The next-gen EEZ-BB3 is now out at . Don't miss out - if it's anything like its predecessor, it'll be the best benchtop supply you can get. Can't wait to receive mine!
