It’s time to admit that the libertarians have been right about this for a while

Lockdowns (1) rendered millions unemployed. (2) cut people off from important institutions that reduce social conflict. (3) increased police harassment of innocent people. This is a recipe for disaster.

BREAKING: Sources tell me Dallas County District Attorney John Creuzot is refusing to take the charge for the protesters who are being arrested, as in he is trying to let them loose. We do not have a statement from the DA's office at this time.

The root of this isn’t over race. Race is just one issue that ignited a fire. The unprecedented lockdowns, limits on freedom, loss of human interaction, bad economy, 40 million unemployed, govt authoritarianism & bailouts, the drug war & bad policies all contribute as well.

We were told we couldn’t have more than 10 people at an outdoor graveside service in Maine literally 10 days ago. People were afraid to come see my family.

This isn’t just widespread violent protests - it’s an epoch shift in how the world works and the riots have far different motivation and significance than 68 - they also are combined with a health crisis, a virus, an economic crisis and unemployment as high as the depression

Okay, so the question offends you because you think it is Trumps fault? I don’t think it’s that simple, Ferguson, Oakland and years of abuses at LAPD, NYPD etc and many other deaths predate Trump

This is not 1968. It is an entirely different time with different problems, laws, issues, dynamics, goals, fundamentals, effects and different people involved. It is a mistake to try to use 1968 as a frame of reference.

Are you aware that the police force, Chief, mayor and governor in Louisville are all democrats? They shot and killed an unarmed black restaurant owner last night. I’m asking if that’s Trumps fault

So Trump has whipped up these otherwise good Democrat cities to become racists and shoot black people? It just doesn’t make sense. Especially given that these shootings, abuses and riots preceded Trump & have been going on for years.

Before the speech police in a Democrat city & state killed an unarmed black restaurant owner — police had violated rights of over 100 members of the press & countless other acts — I’m just trying to understand why the anger is directed toward him
