Great work by deputies Cusco and Kogan who helped locate Rusty, the Farinas family dog. The family is new to Pompano Beach and Rusty suddenly ran off. The deputies found the dog scared and injured, but he is fine now and happy to be home!

Distraction thieves targeted an 87-year-old victim in an elaborate con to get their hands on her jewelry. Robbery Unit detectives are releasing a sketch of one of the thieves and urging witnesses, as well as other possible victims, to come forward.
