Public safety is Sheriff Gregory Tony’s number one priority. To give trauma victims an increased chance of surviving an uncontrolled bleeding injury, bleeding kits will be placed in Broward County public and charter schools for use by first responders and civilians.

A cup of coffee is a chance to visit old friends or make new ones. It helps us wake up and understand a little bit about what makes each of us unique. It’s also delicious. We had a great time talking to people over a cup at Miami Subs in West Park.

Sheriff Gregory Tony believes in promoting from within and utilizing the talent that exists within the Broward Sheriff’s Office. Described as hard working and deserving, it’s no surprise that Sheriff Tony selected Colonel David Holmes to lead the Department of Law Enforcement. 👏

Today, BSO remembered and honored fallen heroes. We will never forget those in uniform who put themselves in harm’s way. Our prayers will remain with the hundreds of first responders who are still battling serious health ailments as a result of their heroism.
