The takeaway? There's always more to learn and as we continue to build the next generation of software and systems we should rely on and trust the guardrails we've built enabling us to move faster safely. Oh, and learn to be vulnerable and listen to experts. 😆

Years ago, when we retreated to Lake Tahoe to push out the major rebuild of , I recall watching me hand editing a .config file. In his friendly manner he chastised me to use "make menuconfig" pointing out that even he uses those tools. 1/2

I look forward to laughing when I see someone dressed like a cybergoth in the same way I do when folks are dressed like flappers.

I'm glad I stepped off this lawn a while ago. 😉 ip (versus ifconfig, route, arp, iptunnel, et al), ss (versus netstat), dig (vs nslookup), etc have been part of my toolkit for forever. If you can these fence sitters & make them stop rabbling about SysV init I'll be stoked.

Is anyone aware of a gratis tool for doing two way sync between two separate Google calendars using the API? I'm in a goofy situation where the "private URL" won't work. Self-hosted is preferable.
