Essex Weather Jan 27
Three potential falls of heavy snow in the coming seven days affecting Essex - Tuesday Night, Thursday and Saturday. Each are modeled to be rain to snow events and considerable thawing in-between, so nothing like we saw last year but enough to cause some impacts.

Possible snow forecast for Tuesday into Wednesday. A good time to think about those that might need care during colder weather. ❄️⛄️

Potential for disruptive snow on Tuesday/Tuesday night - all depends on exact track of low pressure. Will be a couple more days until the models firm up on the low.

Current crime trend. In the last couple of weeks we have had a number of broken down vehicles stolen from the roadside after being left by their owners. They are potentially being removed by being lifted or dragged onto low loaders or simply towed away by another vehicle.

Emerging crime trend. We are currently seeing an increase in Catalytic convertors being stolen from vehicles. This is an old crime that affected us a few years ago but is making a comeback. Thieves simply cut the catalytic converter from the exhaust pipe of a parked car.
