Out patrolling for the 4th day running multiple times a day. It’s great to chat to local residents and shop owners. We will continue the patrols that the people of Brentwood wanted to tackle street drinking, ASB, flytipping and more!

The CCTV overwatch was purely for officer safety. Although public area surveillance is nationally used to help reduce both crime and ASB. Our cameras are not used to generate income. In fact FPN's are not issued primarily as income but a measure to achieve compliance.

Brentwood CPT & Council are currently trying to identify motorcycles & quads being irresponsibly and illegally ridden in the Bishops Hall Park area. If you know who these people are or where the bikes are being kept then let Essex Police or the council know.

We certainly are, with all intel passed to police. The PSPO (public space protection order) is close to finalisation which will give a framework for more robust enforcement. There are already a number of enforcement officers trained who will patrol WHW once the order is in place.
