CONFIRMED Tax bill passed by House would repeal tax credit for employers who hire disabled veterans & long-term unemployed people. YES @RepTrentFranks @RepMcSally NO @RepSinema

Every single tax credit/deduction/subsidy in our monstrous tax code has an entrenched constituency & lobbyists! That's what makes tax reform & simplification so hard. I speak as a former member of Congress who tried repeatedly to make taxes as fair, flat & low as possible!
Gary Goodman, Ph.D. 19 Nov 17
Apparently disabled veterans are among those who cannot afford to properly lobby Congress.

A simplified tax code is the point. Doesn't mean they won't be hired.
AZ State Rep. Mitzi Epstein 18 Nov 17
So you prefer simple over fair? Do you think a simple tax code is better than one in pursuit of justice? Companies that hire disabled veterans may need to modify the workplace -- like space for wheelchairs to move around. A tax help for that is just and right.

Thanks for the confirmation of who voted for and against, Brahm, and the "yes" votes are really not surprising. None of those Reps have done anything good for AZ except promote racism & crazy conspiracy theories.

Great catch, @stillhere_AZ! And thanks again for posting the same info on my Facebook page! You have an amazing attention to detail, my friend! 💙

That is only one of many horrible things about this bill.
