I love the "run what ya bring" atmosphere no qualifying or testing has brought. If you supposedly like "old school", that's what you should like. The best drivers are still the best & it has certainly seemed to level the playing field a bit for some other drivers to show up.

Personally, I like practice and qual days, but I agree with your perspective, it also pretty much has the drivers rely on raw talent, skill, and instinct/feel of the car. It's an interesting change.
