The greatest generation wasn’t great before World War II; the war made
them great because they rose to the challenge. This is your challenge, #Millenials. I’m not asking you to storm the beaches at Normandy – just storm the beaches and the stores. #LiveLife #NoFear pic.twitter.com/utMKhCGOSs

When young people discuss what they care about you tell them to shut up and that they don't know what they're talking about but now you're telling them it's their time to make their mark on the world because old people had their time and you're doing it alone in the woods on HBO.

Young people are being tear gassed & brutalized by police while they lead the most sustained protest movement in a generation, seeking to end systemic racism & fundamentally reimagine our society... But Bill Maher thinks they need to be brave and... go shopping? Seriously, WTF

Do you mean Gen Z? Millennials are working from home with a kid and 30k college debt.

This is an incredibly stupid rant. Encouraging people to ignore a pandemic will make it worse and last longer. This will cause illness and suffering and will kill people. It will be incredibly bad for the economy. In some parts of the US the virus is just getting started.

If the US had acted more decisively and much sooner, it might be able to do what Bill Maher suggests, but it did not, so it can’t.
In comparison to the US, Vietnam has only 300 cases and zero deaths out of a pop. of 90 million. They acted early and decisively and all wear masks.

“On the topic of science, the non scientists don't get a vote. We shouldn't decide everything by polling the masses. This is the fallacy called Argumentum Ad Numerum, the idea that something is true because great number believe it”

Is this a joke? No, people don't need to storm any beaches, and the only time they should be in a store is when they need to buy something. Every other country on Earth, for the most part, has figured out how to deal with this. Why haven't we?

This opinion is silly, of course kids can get sick & some do
Bill is frantic to get bodies inside ballparks (mets) in studios (real time) Vegas (stand up)
Bills income is more important than our moms & dads. Bill do your stand up before trump, you will get the audience you crave
