It is strange. Especially at funeral Masses. But it is part of being loving and faithful right now. Still...I long for full and fulsome liturgy again.

I didn't vote because it's a false dichotomy IMHO. When people give thoughtful critical input, it's a way of showing respect. And art never just means one thing.

I don't know if this is a great example of this genre of data viz, but I really wanted to make one of those racing bar charts. This is the size of religious traditions in the GSS from 1972 to 2018.

There's a change once you hit 40+ tho; you start accumulating more credits progressively, like 21-42 half your age +4 43-50 half your age +7 50-55 half your age +12 55-60 half your age +20

Someone math-y should come up with an equation to convert your real age to the age you should expect to be treated as in TEC. Like the reverse of dog years. If you're 41, they treat you like you're 23, etc.

actually yes, this was the video I saw. He is so delightful. We tried to go to his shop 4 years ago but the one day we were there in St-Malo was the day they are closed 😥

I have seen a video profile of Bordier, who makes absolutely the best butter imaginable, but I'm not sure if it was that one! Trying to find some Beurre Bordier is on the list every time we're in France. Honestly it's like a whole different product.

it seems to me that in the past few years there's actually been a trend of laypeople finding Episcopal churches well after having learned to navigate the Daily Office and then decided they want to experience the tradition that gave them their app
