Well isn't this interesting. Youtube got a special entitlement to be able to use VP9. Tim Cook: “We treat all app developers equally”.

I think the apparent attraction is the ability to write seemingly synchronous code in a typical CRUD app on the default UI thread. Actually taking into account all the resulting problems is a different discussion 🤷‍♀️

that’s a band-aid, not fighting the root cause of a problem if I’ve ever seen one 🧐

I think it makes sense. You are probably supposed to check your pattern and show a dialog to the user “you seem to have a parcel tracking code in your pb, do you want to paste it?”. Only access the value after confirmation. At least that’s how I understand it

If only WhatsApp would implement the „frequent contacts“ feature for the system share-sheet 😢. My friends aren’t on Telegram

do you know how iFile used to do this back in the day? app executable: #!/bin/bash if new framework exists do exec newAppBinary() else do exec oldAppBinary() Yes, actually a shell script. With like 3 different app versions for iOS 2 up to iOS 7

Also I’m not sure a motion rig would solve your problem. If there’s any latency or desync between motion and picture, my brain can tell very quickly :p

I tried sim racing with VR a few months ago (on PC). Once I got really sick, it never felt very comfortable. In the end, I bought an ultra-wide monitor instead.

looks nice. I don’t quite understand, is it possible to create custom effects like this which update live on the home screen or are devs limited to existing “effects” (countdown label)?

though I’d chime in on this: IDA has specific support to open the whole shared cache and only disassemble parts of it, but keeping references intact. This was made for iOS shared cache. I think Hopper isn’t quite there
