Also, here's a projection of how 40% coverage among at-risk adult men who have sex with men would affect HIV transmission rates. By comparison, San Francisco has something like 45% coverage--probably the highest in the nation.

This means that w/in the next 18 months, we'll hopefully see full, cost-sharing-free coverage of PrEP for those with insurance. And for the uninsured population, the new donation to will provide free Truvada, and then after it is approved as PrEP.

BREAKING: The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force has granted as an A rating, which means that all insurers must cover PrEP with NO COST SHARING. That means no deductibles or copays. Note: it may take till 1/2021 for this to take full effect
