Not a lot of developers would get rid of the mouse pointer cause it "looks ugly" - then why do that with focus indicators? at

I've written a new post on why we've chosen to use Vue.js for our customer facing and some internal apps at CarFinance 247. Let me know what you think 😅

Optional chaining is now part of the JavaScript spec! Instead of checking for the existence of each key in an embedded object and then accessing it, we will get an undefined value and the code won't error out.

A friend wrote a well-performing tech article on Medium. It's a good article with one small error - its click success has come from dudes clicking and sharing and explaining how she's wrong. So she keeps the error in and makes roughly $100/month off of mansplaining.

Today is my birthday. 45. Ouch. The number one gift you could give me would be to share this job posting for a strategist at Cloud Four. Hiring the right person will have a big impact on my work life and sanity. :)

When Google puts 4 paid ads ahead of the first organic result for your own brand name, you’re forced to pay up if you want to be found. It’s a shakedown. It’s ransom. But at least we can have fun with it. Search for Basecamp and you may see this attached ad.

Imagine being so racist & ignorant you can’t distinguish Sikhs from Muslims😳 Now imagine being so compassionate you don’t respond with “Im not Muslim” but instead courageously condemn the racism for what it is✊🏽 My immense respect to MP ❤️

💡TIP: Take care when using JavaScript hacks. They may not result in the most readable source code. It usually adds clarity to use existing functions.

If you voted for Brexit because you're against 'unelected bureaucrats' & in favour of 'restoring power' to the UK parliament, you must be feeling pretty miffed this weekend. By rights, you should be leading the protests not nodding along with the liars & cheats condemning them.
