Just to say that a society that forces ppl to sell their HOME as an asset because the social security net has been removed is based upon cruelty. You should have a human right to stay in your house no matter what the circumstances, and the cost should be covered. ✌❤

Thank god this is happening in a vacuum and the government have absolutely no role to play in saving British Steel. Thank god for the licence fee. Thank God for the BBC. Thank god for that tiny microchip in my tiny fucking brain.

Yes, then they could champion centrist politics and perpetual foreign military interventions. Still propaganda for sure, but propaganda you can live with.

Franco was a politician. Mussolini was a politician. Carrasco was a politician. Hitler was a politician. Mosley was a politician. Leibbrandt was a politician. Le Pen is a politician. Trump is a politician. Duterte is a politician. Farage is a politician.

A lot of the centrist milkshake discourse seems to elide the fact that this all began when a group of middle-aged, street-fighting Nazis literally surrounded and berated a lone Muslim teenager... and then tried to beat the shit out of him when he defended himself. Funny that.

So not only was Ed Miliband a class act here, I can’t remember his egging triggering a national debate about whether this was a terrible act of violence. And Miliband wasn’t a bigot who spoke of donning khaki and picking up a rifle if he didn’t get his own way.

Apologies to those offended by my condoning throwing milkshakes at Farage. Let me be clear - I would freeze the milkshake into a dark-edged half kilo block of ice and pound it up his jacksie with a sledgehammer until I died of exhaustion. My children would then take over.

In 2015 George Osborne urged china to pitch for £11.8bn of contracts for the HS2. Apparently Britain, a country which provides steel worldwide, didn't have the "right type of steel". British Steel are on the verge of collapse & the Tories don't care.
