Feels like a lot of blame on ‘breaches’ by a population that cooperated with lockdown and accepted restrictions while the government failed on care homes, PPE, schools and testing.

Twice now I’ve heard suggest it’s no wonder there’s a shortage of Covid tests because they are being provided for free. May I take this opportunity to remind the disingenuous little runt that every single test has been bought & paid for by us, the taxpayer.

This is actually the biggest danger in our household. I got my daughter to number all the bases and lids, but they’re wearing off now and it takes ages to find some that match. It’s worse than losing socks in the washing machine!

OMG - this Tory MP on explaining why he doesn’t want training on unconscious bias is something else! He’s illustrating perfectly why it’s so important, as he thinks it’s simply impossible that it might be necessary.

Asside from debating whether or not collections should sell works to protect staff, why do people always suggest the most significant works on the collections for this? Surely rationalisation, selling duplicates or the least displayed works would be a more sensible suggestion?

The danger of looking only at the artists who’ve managed to roll up their sleeves and get on with making during Covid and not the many with no space, caring responsibilities, no money or poor mental health.
