Our second regional supporters' evening took place on Saturday with 40 people gathering in Wimborne, Dorset, to enjoy a buffet supper and ministry updates. Taking part were local contact Jeremy Hett, Colin Reeves, Paul Garner, Stephen Lloyd, Bill Worraker and Matthew Pickhaver.

On Sunday Matthew Pickhaver spoke at Battisford Free Church in Suffolk. In the morning he gave a Bible overview to the youngsters and preached from Joshua. Later he spoke again about Noah's flood - using science and Scripture. Visitors were present and questions asked afterwards.

'Was there really a world-wide flood?' Matthew Pickhaver presented evidence from science and Scripture to answer this question last night at West Row Baptist Church in Suffolk, as well as giving a report on BCT's recent work. About 35 attended and a useful Q&A session followed.

Paul Garner spoke at King's Church, Cambridge, on 23 October. His topic was 'The Ice Age and the Genesis Flood'. He'll be back at King's Church to speak about dinosaurs on 20 November, so if you're in the Cambridge area why not come along? It would be great to see you!

On 22 September Bill Worraker took part in CMI's European conference in London, at which 20 countries were represented. He spoke on ‘The Created Solar System’: the latest models for its formation, the relative youth of its planets and the uniqueness of life-supporting earth.

Matthew Pickhaver spoke at Hyde street Chapel in Winchester last Thursday on the question, 'Is creationism credible?' He presented evidence from biology, geology & cosmology in support of the Biblical record. 40 were present including some young people.

At the 8th ICC in Pittsburgh Paul Garner took part via Skype, presenting his paper on Devonian & Carboniferous tetrapodomorphs, then joining a geoscience panel which discussed, among other things, identifying the flood boundaries in the geological column.

Dr Bill Worraker presented his paper on modelling flood and post-flood ocean floor cooling at the 8th ICC in PIttsburgh. Around 50 delegates attended the session and CPT and supernatural heat removal were among the subjects of follow-up questions and comments.

Earlier this month Dr Worraker & Matthew also attended the 8th International Conference on Creationism in Pittsburgh. 46 academic papers were presented in various fields, with panel discussions in biology, geology & cosmology. Up to 800 people attended the open evening sessions.

At the end of July, Dr Bill Worraker and Matthew Pickhaver attended Origins 2018 in Pittsburgh, USA. Origins is the annual conference of the Creation Biology Society and Creation Geology Societies. About 60 people gathered to hear 12 papers presented.

Around 30 attended our first regional supporters' evening in Thurlaston near Leicester on 30th June. Trustee Stephen Bazlinton, Stephen Lloyd and Matthew Pickhaver took part and useful discussion followed. Look out for news of similar events elsewhere in the country in due time!

Paul Garner & Steve Lloyd took part in Belvedere Pentecostal Church's 'Creation Conference 2018' on 2-3 June. There were also talks by organiser Dr Carol Valinejad, Nigel Steele (consultant to Christian schools), Regan King (Christian Concern) and Dr Nathaniel Jeanson (AiG).
