Works that were critical of accelerating tech (BM, Her) resonated. So did climate futures + parables. An encouragingly diverse lot of authors and creators—tho still male heavy—were cited. Again, it's a tiny sample—but I think it's a pretty good reflection. + an encouraging one

Also notable: The omissions. Not one single person said Walking Dead, which is fascinating, given its audience size, spinoffs, + cross-platform longevity. But I think that's right! It's our era's zombie thing—probably not a lot that will endure, thematically.
