A great lady. A great author. A great example of how Holocaust survivors can be a force for good. Boy we’ll miss you Judith Kerr

NB Tomorrow is Election Day so it will not be business as usual for our reporting. This explains why, for example, “subjects which have been directly at issue or part of the campaign must not be covered while polls in the UK are open”

Both & have asked to see tonight. Remember that it was the Cabinet going in one by one to see Margaret Thatcher which finished her off.

Now "wishes the well" in his editorial. Aware of the risk of doing a Hessa he doesn't quite tell readers to vote for them

Who does think should “reflect, reflect, reflect...” as he told ? MPs who say they’ll vote against the Brexit Bill? The Cabinet who have backed the PM so far? Or the PM herself?

Events could move very fast now. May will face a concerted attempt to bring her down next week, calls to pull her vote & speed up a leadership contest to install in Downing Street by mid July

Is Labour’s asking the PM to do what he couldn’t persuade his own leader to do - to come off the fence, choose sides and offer another EU referendum?

The say they don’t receive donations in anything but sterling but that’s not the end of the questions. See tweet to & fro with below to understand the issue &/or listen to my interview with him on at 07.09 am

The success of may well be due to what you call an uprising of millions. That, though, does not mean that the BBC should not question the policies, motives & funding of those who set it up. Just as we should with all those who want power. That’s our job

Thanks for clarifying. What about my other questions - Do you have a process that allows you to identify & stop donations from foreign citizens ? Or, as you told me on air, is your argument that they're not illegal as less than £500?

Is word "receives" significant here Richard? Does PayPal convert from foreign currencies ? Do you have a process that allows you to identify & stop donations from foreign citizens ? Or, you told me, is your argument that they're not illegal as less than £500? Offer noted

The Chairman of admits on that they may be getting donations in foreign currencies. Not illegal if under £500 but Gordon Brown says democracy is "fatally undermined" if parties get "unexplained, unreported &s thus undeclared" donations
