This house-by-house search continued for weeks. Some people survived thanks to their non- neighbors, who hid them in their houses. Most of the Mazar-e Sharif Massacre survivors, like Dr. Naim are alive, and it's our duty to listen to them and share their stories. 3/3

He recalled that the Taliban entered the city and randomly shot on everything that was moving without distinction. After a few days, they started to knock on the doors of Hazara houses and when the owners opened they shot them on the spot. 2/3

Between an Afghanistan at war with the Taliban, and an Afghanistan at peace after an agreement between the Afghan government and the Taliban, there is no difference. There is no peace agreement that can take the killer instinct out of the minds of the Taliban.

And I am pretty sure that also the government and institutions are full of these "disgruntled brothers' admirers". The question is: how many of them helped to organize attacks inside Kabul?

Maybe Ashraf Ghani is pursuing his nation-building's efforts using as a cathartic force the hate against him, because at the moment, this seems one of the few things that accomunate all the people of Afghanistan

Cancer treatments have run out of all my savings; now I am a person with disabilities to whom nobody offers a job, but the law says I'm still young to retire. If I can carry on my plans in AFG I will be happy, otherwise all THIS IS ENOUGH. Really ENOUGH.

Four years ago, two suicide bombers wracked a peaceful protest in Kabul. 80+people were killed. 300+ people were wounded. The carnage cumbers the survivors. They protested discrimination, in particular the route of a power line. It was massive and peaceful amid the war.
