The idea that it’s cheaper assumes that Doctors and Hospitals would continue getting paid at current Medicare levels rather than private health insurance levels. That’s never going to happen because it would crash the medical economic system and probably send us into a depression

The public supports Medicare for all. But, support erodes significantly if people hear it would require a tax increase.

Democratic presidential hopefuls are floundering a bit over Medicare for All. Let's hope they get clear about it, in particular the reality that completely going to single-payer would require a LOT of revenue 1/

I agree players should get more but “schools paying whatever they like” would quickly turn College Basketball into a sport with zero competitive balance. Even pro leagues have salary caps.

Wouldn’t you be better off to admit that you guys shouldn’t be helping Kamala Harris pick out clothes and sending out fawning tweets about it rather than double down and act like its not big deal? This is the perfect example of why so many people consider you guys Fake News.

An amazing victory for here, protecting New Yorkers from working for one of the greatest companies in the history of industry, while simultaneously driving future companies from considering NYC as a home. 🤦🏻‍♂️

There probably would be a veto proof majority to repeal the 1976 law that gave Trump this authority but not to just overrule him in this one case.

The hypocrisy of everyone in politics is being revealed again. Democrats who cheered on Obama exec action are now thrashing about and Republicans who decried those same actions are now cheering. I’ve never felt worse about our politics.

Where did you stand when Obama was governing by executive action? I’m sure you resigned your US Attorney position in protest.

Other than he wasn’t worth the trouble to be a back up QB. There wasn’t a coherent argument that Tebow wasn’t at least good enough to be someone’s back up or third stringer but again teams didn’t think he was worth the trouble cause fans would want him to play.
