I found the best review of a program, ever: "To be honest, I really have no idea how to use this program. Despite my best efforts, I cannot get it to work. However, I have seen it work once a long time ago, so I know that using it is possible."

Can confirm, I've watched work, and it's pretty much exactly like this

I love screwing around in Kingspray, it's a shame I have no artistic ability to speak of. I can do templates, though. Were you there for the pre-teardown party when we moved out of that old warehouse at TheFind? That was one of the only cool events I can remember at that company

Great info if you're working with 180 or 360 degree video in VR. Thanks for the details and the sample videos !

That was one of my main concerns in 2016, how much of a distraction it was all going to end up being for so many people. I feel like it put a damper on a lot of peoples' optimism, and forced a many people to feel like they had to refocus to prepare for a worse future

Adobe could have embraced the open web but instead they fought it, kept all their tooling for themselves, lost the battle, and just threw it all away. They could have been a powerhouse in 3d web authoring, but instead they are...not.

Flash certainly isn't being written out of the web's history books, but I feel like getting sad about this is like complaining nobody really gives dictators enough credit for the POSITIVE things they did for their countries, why do they always have to focus on the negatives?

The initial release was demoed in Firefox Nightly yes, but that demo absolutely positively worked in Chrome and Firefox release versions by the end of the year. I wasn't refuting that they did it in flash *first* but they certainly got it running, and it was well before 2019

Twitter really encourages this behavior too, you always feel constrained and it's hard to keep a good thread going on complex topics, so you feel rushed to make your point and omit niceties and every discussion feels like a stilted argument

In the US, this would have cost the good samaritan $70.04, and the recipient likely would have had to pay about as much as well. Banks 🤷‍♂️
