Can't wait for the day monetizes its enterprise services — Buy authorship information on a post so you can fire them — Buy the list of posts written by someone so you can fire them — Get the entire list of authors so you can mass fire instead of lay off FaaS

“i nuovi sistemi della PA dovranno essere come il sistema operativo di Rousseau, che è una cosa così straordinaria”. Ovvero una ciofeca bucata come il gruviera, scritta su un framework non aggiornato e che non soddisfa le specifiche promesse. Bravo Beppe, sei sempre una certezza.

Did you think Europeans in the 20s were somehow genetically evil? Did fascist dictators get power through an act of god? Were entire countries under a magic spell? or was it just "normal" people giving corruption a chance? "Not like he's gassed anyone yet! So hyperbolic."

By most measures my new mobile, a Nokia 8, is not better than what it replaced, a 6P, but it has reliable battery life for now and it makes me happy. The 6P right now holds battery for four entire minutes.

Your battery percentage is just an estimate — an estimate that never adjusts to the fact a fraction of your battery is pretty much gone forever I've dealt with this for a year. Sometimes the battery would last at 1% forever, sometimes it would die at 60%, but that's exceptions

The worst part is that you have now effectively lost use of battery saver as a thing that turns itself on, since that triggers at 15% max and your phone will essentially never go that low again

Yup, time to look into either replacing the battery or getting a new phone. This is only going to get worse.

The company that sent me the pictured fingerprint lock has provided the security quote of the year: “...the lock is invincible to the people who do not have a screwdriver.”

I work in a perl shop. We started a side project in Python 3. The amount of nice things you get for free out of the box just because you're running VS Code is (relatively) staggering and that's like still the bare minimum we should demand from our tools :(

Wish it was because of wanting to stick it up to Putin rather than rancorous annoyance for not being part. I mean, it's at least equal parts for me
