I dealt with a shoplifter earlier this week who got annoyed when I told him he got caught because he wasn’t very good at it. Turns out he takes things really badly.

This from ‘Making Evil’ by : “Humans have a hard time accepting different faces, but one thing that is often even harder to accept is a different mind.” It’s one of the reasons autistic people can suffer significant amounts of stigma and exclusion

I’ve just been asked to send one of my PCSO’s to a part of Bath where apparently dogs are chasing people on bikes. It’s ridiculous, dogs can’t even ride bikes.

Ironically, expressing myself verbally is a challenge. I’m a confident public speaker, and so people assume that I’m the same in social situations. But not being able to predict what other people say and do can actually make social situations really quite hard.
