$8.6M is the "not-to-exceed" amount, to include property, closing & other costs. The City cannot pay more than fair market value & a 3rd party is completing an appraisal to determine this. The tax assessed value is not always the best indicator of a property's fair market value.

Travis, 16m people a year are traveling through an airport designed for 11m. The pick-up location for taxis was moved to reduce heavy roadway congestion at Barbara Jordan Terminal. is working on a longer-term plan to find a better solution:
