Hey @FabriceNEYRET do you have the link to the gabor add/blend paper from last year? i can't find it. The one at siggraph / on shadertoy that you & your students were involved in?

i don't think so. there was a novel blend/add thing that got around the usual problems of gabor noise. it was at siggraph 2019 too i think.

Related, some colors of noise: blog.demofox.org/2017/10/25/tra…
Also related, there was a "gabor noise" paper recently that talked about how to blend or add it in a new way, but i can't find it... thought it was on jcgt.org

Yeah seconded. Thats the cool thing about perlin noise to me. It gives you a spectrum slice that you can put into whatever frequency area you want (high/med/low) and add them together. It lets you do additive synthesis of noise :P

Windows Search has stopped working. The culprit is Bing search integration. Disable Bing search with this guide: howtogeek.com/224159/how-to-…

Apparently it's Bing search that broke it, and you can disable it

Implemented Bayer's filter during my high school English class today :)
Bayer's filter is how most digital image sensors capture light. Each pixel is filtered to record only one of three color values (R, G, or B), which results in the raw output appearing checkered. (1/4) pic.twitter.com/Dx9VQxIQRt

Not read this thesis fully but it covers derivation of and thinking behind the HDR color spaces ICaCb and ICtCp. Worth a look. twitter.com/colour_science…
