An app with too many unit tests is an app that will never see any major updates or changes. You may as well pour concrete on it. Apps should be tested at the user level, IMO (hint: ). Leave unit testing for library code.

All of GitHub's menus & dialogs work without JavaScript. The brilliant figured out that `<details>` elements could make popover menus work without JS ! We've got open source helpers too:

This week I'm working on a project that combines server-side routing with a full Vue-rendered "SPA" front-end! 💥 There's no client-side routing or state. I load data over xhr and hot swap components in a persistent Vue instance. 😮 It's so fast and enjoyable to work with!! 🎉

Stupid question: Why isn't the India/Pakistan escalatory situation between two hostile nuclear powers who have previously have 4 named wars (and other hostilities) not the above-the-fold articles on NY Times and WaPo? Or ANYWHERE on the front web page?

Language learning friends: The Chrome extension "Language Learning with Netflix" lets you watch foreign media with subtitles in English AND the original language! It helps me 1) pick up what's being spoken and 2) visually pair a word with its English translation. Sehr nützlich!

so glad I started using these kind of imports for styles. ✅ it saves so much time ✅ you can easily distinguish between local styled components, shared styled components, and normal components
