I *love* working on the side of the Web. I love that it’s the perfect sweet spot between design and engineering. I love that this sweet spot keeps both parts of my brain stimulated and inspired. I love that it’s what connects my work to the real ppl who will use it. I 💜 UI.

You don't want your GraphQL files to be separate from your components. Moving queries to `.graphql` is an anti-pattern.

+1 to MVPs. I started ~5 apps in the last year that are all at 90% "done" but never shipped. "It must be perfect!" can be the death of launches :)

This is bad framing and The Verge should be a bit ashamed of trying to create a little scandal out of letting blind people have a slightly better experience. If a company has your photo THEY HAVE THE DATA OF WHAT IS IN IT. Exposing that to screen readers is only positive.

To sell a piano, don’t tell them to buy one. Show them people enjoying a music parlor in their homes and make them want that. They will buy a piano of their own volition. That’s what Edward Bernays did in 1928 when he was inventing modern PR. Sell not a thing, but emotion.

How have I used CSS this long, and had no idea that the 2nd and 3rd digits in font weights have historical significance?
