And for those telling me, "it's football, so leave politics out of it"... 1) Photo ops like this make that impossible; and 2) Torture & state murder are not "political"; they are criminal, pure & simple.

Being a celebrity, Mo takes photos with very many people. I don't think celebrities do background checks on their fans before taking photos with their fans.

And obviously I'm not blaming here. I'm blaming for allowing a training camp to be put in the human rights black hole that is Chechnya. As expected, torturers & murderers are being praised on the world stage thanks to that decision.

How are people in Libya, Iraq, Syria, Yemen everywhere where you advocated Western wars are doing? Did they reach neocon paradise? Vile criminal Kadyrov recently opened attraction park with dolphins in Grozny. Can you boast the same of Western "humanitarian" interventions?

I guess he is not blaming mohamed salah for taking a photo with them iam sure mohamed salah doesn't know who are these but the blame would be on people who made them appear in players training camp.

We should not blame Mo, but rather who put him in that position. Chechnya should never been chosen.

Shouldn't have been in Brazil in 2014, shouldn't have been in Russia in 2018 and shouldn't be in Qatar in 2022. Until the top nations pull out, FIFA will continue to rule the globe.

Mo Salah plays in the team of a country whose current leader (like most of his predecessors, tbh) rules the country like a tyrant. I mean Egypt. You might want to check Egypt’s current human rights, press freedom record, and try to figure out what has been happening in Sinai.
