As the Director of QI for my ED I am biased BUT I highly recommend getting involved in your institutions peer review committee! So often ED is underrepresented and our involvement yanks everyone into present day EBM and exemplifies your worth! Nerdy rant over.

The ROS helps us (or those who follow us) overcome cognitive bias. You might not see a pattern leading to the ultimate final diagnosis (can’t know what’s pertinent if you don’t have the right diagnosis) but others reading your note might pick up on it.
