A lot going on at the warehouse lately: we received a generous donation from Hamburger Hilfskonvoi. Thanks to their help, we can continue to support families & women on the move in Calais and Grande-Synthe. Vielen Dank für Eure Unterstützung lieber Hilfskonvoi!!

Home Office did not consult councils on decision to resume asylum evictions during pandemic. There doesn't seem to be any joined up thinking. The only aim to appear as hostile as possible. How does this fit with ?

Significant challenge to Home Office due diligence here: ‘Jack Holborn, counsel for the home secretary, told the court: “Our position is, it’s a justified departure from the published policy and it doesn’t really matter.”’ Really?

We've had a few people contact us to tell us that the people who drowned today should have come via 'legal routes'. Now putting aside that it is ENTIRELY legal to enter the UK irregularly to claim asylum, what are all these other legal routes that apparently exist? We'll wait.
