I would suggest using Set Variable in each branch of the if statement, and use that variable later.

How did you do it before?

"Get Variable" is no longer necessary because there is no longer a concept of implicit input. So once you use Set Variable, you can directly place that variable wherever you need it, without needing a Get Variable.

You can still use Set Variable in the new Shortcuts app, and use the value of that variable later!

If you really don’t want the floppy disk box, I’ll trade for you another gift. I could use it for my floppy disk collection!

This is a *big* change in iOS 13, and basically what I've wanted for years. No more URL schemes, no more clipboard hacks – all done natively and securely. And the Shortcuts editor is much easier to use thanks to new pickers and natural language-style syntax. ❤
