spiritus mundi lumbers to its knees, cntrl sytems spinning in+out of their ctrl regimes, snapping, oscillating, lashing out, sputtering to nothing, recursing, piling up, mutating. higher-level momenta lurch and twirl, split, dialogue, collide, autophage

wholesome freeloading makes Art and Science. unwholesome freeloading is 3rd worst evil action, second is rent-seeking / capture, 1st is harm for its own sake

homecoming under too many new library books, the kids cozied into the 4 corners of their tetrahedral gravity-bulb reading room, opening first pages. artful lettering, hinted textures and smells; margin notes from 10^15 friends hanging available to but not intruding on perception

[dilettante] ask lean to add user-defined syntactic sugar? could combine with a WYSIWYG LaTeX environment somehow? so you def a LaTeX --> Lean code map, and then you write the LaTeX, and the map compiles it, and the WYSIWYG makes it look nice

there's also the despair of a collapsing fantasy. (some fantasies are about social narratives, but some are internal goodharting rather than external goodharting)

totally irrelevant to the question. OP was about concepts, you're making it about people. figure out why you're making it about people.

this. so challenging that it's not well-understood yet, which explains the OP: they're there, they're just too hard.

oh neat. (sadly idk about projective geometry so i don't get it... what i'm getting is you have the points in ℝ³, and you assume they're in the same plane, so you get a 1-dimensional conic, and then you project down onto ℝℙ², and in some natural local chart it's a parabola)

(can't always be a parabola, not enough degrees of freedom)

i'm not saying, train on some skill of theorizing that's supposed to generalize from learning math to... theorizing. i'm saying math *is* (a lot of the hard part of) theorizing. so you want to get good at it. maybe you disagree that math is a key element of theorizing
