# organizers of this solidarity rally are using is 12 to describe those who have been arrested by IcE last week. That is not confirmed but leaders working closely w/immigrant community know of at least 4 for sure, while conceding it is difficult to pin down exact figures.

The crowd out here has swelled to about 250-300 people with volunteers from the coalition of “Sanctuary DMV” handing out fliers for “deportation defense training.” Lots of folks out here seem interested in helping protect their neighbors. Pretty diverse crowd.

Disclaimer: I’m terrible at crowd counts. Looks like about 100 people gathered at 14th & Park in Columbia Heights to demonstrate after reports ICE arrested a few people this past week in the heart of Latino DC.
