Since 2013, I've been interviewing sociologists about their thoughts on anarchism. Here's a bare-bones bibliography of written works from my interviewees. Many of these pieces were what inspired me to invite them to do an interview:

it'd be interesting to study conservative rhetoric on twitter before and after the Trump primary campaign. Trump has been such an important vector for white nationalism in the GOP, helping draw the two together using dog-whistles, policy, and networks...

The Identitarian movement put up billboards around Berlin telling Syrian refugees "The war is over. Go home. Your country needs you now that the last IS stronghold has fallen." The billboards look like official government advertisement, but they are not. (h/t )

Doesn't mean the ideas are bad, just means that they've not been implemented. let's forget about the last twenty years building "fortress europe" and since the Sensenbrenner bill, and just pretend like every migrant was personally ferried into NATO countries by Soros...

it's weird that so many leftists call Obama "deporter in chief" and then howl, "the liberals want open borders." maybe open borders and free movement was part of a massive popular zeitgeist, symbolized by the fall of the Berlin Wall, that was exploited opportunistically...

Anyone remember those halcyon days of 2009 when was polling his audiences on which kind of armed revolt against the Obama administration they preferred? Good times, good times.

I am imagining some dystopian reversal of a Turing Test: a machine has to try to tell the difference between a podcaster called @Honkler88 and a State Senator based entirely on their posts

tbf, i think it's a bit severe to say he's taking a full-on ecofascist position... if he was calling for ethnostates, yes, but he's talking about walled off multicultural nation-states, which seems more authoritarian conservative. still, it's horrible to see such wild swings

As the Alt-Right falls apart, neo-Nazis + white nationalists are picking up new tactics against journalists + antifascists who would expose them. Their latest idea: suing them in order to promote a "chilling effect" against anyone who would speak out.

Yeah, they can cut that shit out right now. I do not support them in any way shape or form. And trying to use me, or anyone, wearing a specific shirt to get more to follow their lost cause shows how desperate they are.
