This is why @BernieSanders saying he will be 'Organizer In Chief' is the most historically enlightened of any other candidate.
This is how progressive change REALLY happens. #NotMeUs twitter.com/ArashKolahi/st…

I have to agree with Peter. The #IowaCaucusDisaster is just more proof of the political malaise infecting the Democratic Party. If the Dems are going to survive, they need to nominate and elect #PresidentBernieSanders! twitter.com/peterdaou/stat…

Again, this app must be scrapped, both for questions of its accuracy and its connections to Pete's campaign, or none of the results moving forward will be accepted by the public. theweek.com/speedreads/893… via @TheWeek

The clumsier & messier thier rigging is, the more you know were winning.
Keep fighting, dig deeper, its going to be a long & hard battle, but we are going to win & take these corrupt monstrosities down.

For history of social change in the US, Howard Zinn has a lot of good books on the topic.
For theory of social change, Michael Albert has some excellent books: trajectory of change, practical utopia etc...
Of course there are many others...

What we're dealing with right now is a crisis of caucus reporting that is going to be resolved by party bigwigs without transparency after the app designed to supply transparency failed.
The point is that primary turnout isn't the point

It’s astounding to me how few understand this. You’re obviously dead right.
To negotiate from a position of strength, your demands must be more appealing to the powerful than what will happen if your demands aren’t met. “Just vote for it and you’ll get it” is magical thinking.

Another great take. This is why Bernie is the most compelling imo. Whether you believe he can get his policies passed or not, he is the only candidate who is building a political/revolution/movement. It takes a movement to inact social change. We cannot blow this chance. twitter.com/arashkolahi/st…

So, make noise. Raise the costs of fraud, corruption & oppression. Link up with others & do what feels right to you to shut down ‘business as usual’. Because you matter. What you do matters. We’ve been here before.

History tells us if we want to win real change, we must not only be a threat to power, but we must always threaten more than what we are fighting for - at each step. 5/6

Instead, change happens when those in power are FORCED to concede because they fear that if they don’t, they will LOSE SOMETHING EVEN MORE VALUABLE TO THEM.
That’s the logic. That’s their calculus.
Power only concede when FORCED to concede 4/6

Now is an excellent time to dust off the history books.
The history of social change – the kind that genuinely threatens those in power, that threatens the establishment’s status quo is almost always a history of change FORCED, never given.
Here’s the logic of social change. 1/6
