I think the time has come, I might not be able to avoid anymore. I want to run the same set of operations (rename, select, filter etc) on a set of dataframes I have datapastaed into . Is there a way to say "do this" to files P001-P032 without using a loop?

May not be possible in this case, depending on the data structure, but another I love. Get it into a single df then use group_by or nest/map.
