This week we covered Facilitation basics. Aha's? We don't do events simply because Scrum says we have to. SMs need to understand WHY they are are part of Scrum - what is purpose.

OK, so even though I am an organiser for (and by definition am keen), seeing what people are bringing has gotten me REALLY excited! Have a look! And book - the camp is in less than a month and there are only 9 places left!

And to answer your question directly, we offer Coaching Agile Teams in Gauteng, IF we get enough interest. Be warned though, it will push your boundaries. Ask or any of the ABSA or SBSA coaches.

Och Gareth, that sounds so absolutist 😁! I would hope that one develops more than book knowledge, more than the body of knowledge, when you become a student of a discipline. There is an appreciation in me for specialist as well as generalist. Maybe it's just me?

A 2 day intro to OD doth not an OD practitioner maketh. For instance. So I am liking the idea of cross-functional organisational transformation teams more and more. You can call it org agility, business agility, don't care...

Those offerings will be very welcome, like you know from my bleating! 😁 One thing that is starting to concern me about Agile coaches getting little bits of everything from everyone is that people undervalue the depth of the disciplines they borrow from.

Fascinating post tying together the Oral traditions from the Tribal era, the Network era, feminine qualities of leadership and gender. Written in a very neutral style that should make it universally palatable. Thanks !

And as an aside, for me the Agile in Agile coaching is just one of the many approaches in one's toolbox to deal with complexity. If you only have a hammer, everything looks like a nail... There's a whole wide world out there.

Happy to chat, Tanya! Always looking for partners! Even if it is "only" for learning. Could also put you in touch with whose origins are the same as yours. And a small group convo sounds fun too!
