Google is a great example of paradoxes of 'bringing all of yourself to work'. Its greatest hits came from people's whole selves being encouraged at work. Now it struggles w/ them assuming that freedom & ownership means a stake in what it is/does. See this:

Boys born in rich areas live 13 more years than boys born in poor areas. The cumulative amount of human life lost due to these inequalities is orders of magnitude higher than life lost due to disasters/terrorism/crime. Yet we pay so little attention to it
