I keep the "likes" json in hyperdrive create watch on it, so it will get reloaded automatically Then I rebuild and keep it in memory I was originally looking at serialization it (I might have to eventually) - but since 3.5k tweets is almost instant to index, ephemeral works

Improving search for my twitter like explore tool: Additions: - porter stemmer (groups 3dprint, 3dprinting, 3dprinted) - tf-idf to boost words based on frequency of use in tweets ~150ms to build the index (3400 tweets) ~2ms to query

Reminds me of the Lightboard project used to record instructional videos - you write on glass between you and the camera -

She loves doing the problems on the whiteboard - automatically started talking through the problem explaining it to the audience She has students watching her now (a stuffed animal)

Tried using a dry erase marker plus projector to let my daughter work on math problems (instead of drawing numbers with a mouse on a screen) I wonder if maybe glass/plexiglass in front of a cheap large tv would work better?

Waiting for your engineers to fix a problem that affects users is wrong you are making users read through a support page, find nothing, then have to wait on support "chat" who have a pre-written answer you are wasting everyone's time

You can see in the network dev tools, that it is a request to zoom failing with 403 forbidden. don't tell the user in the app that it is a server/network/media compatibility issue. Give us something useful This list should be on the support site / in the app

dear - playing a recorded class was failing So I try multiple computers/tablets + browsers Searched "support", eventually in chat, I was given a wall of text of things to try, saying this is a known issue. If so, share that list on the page! Firefox fixed it

Once my app is fully ported from , I'll share the source on and the app as a hyper:// app of course the first thing folks will want is their favorite tweets instead of mine :) using twitter api purely from hyper:// might be complicated (getting token)

I'm excited by the potential for hyper-apps (web apps that run on the //in the browser) Currently web apps almost entirely require external servers. Having real apps that are is a whole new way to build apps.

There is so much wonderful content on - the focus on the "firehose" of tweets makes it hard to find My "twitter likes" tool - - has been so fun to work on - as I continually (re)find awesome stuff With hearted 3k+ tweets I found cool/inspiring..

pretty naive code - since I'm still learning it rebuilds the index whenever tweets store changes (with 3143 tweets it takes 47 milliseconds) search is key lookup when the query changes, which takes 0.01 milliseconds for logic - plus svelte time for rendering)

Last night I needed to re-add search as I wanted to share with my daughter Creates index of word -> tweet for all words, then search is lightning fast (only works with exact match, no sorting, ... but useful and only took a few lines of js)
