Hey ! I'm a Canadian children's book author/illustrator - also a professional graphic designer. I love whimsical art with a touch of humour. I'm open to projects, and . šŸ šŸ

A good concept can get you full requests from agents. But I caution against sending things before they're ready. Often I love a premise, but the writing was still rough and needed work. That meant passing. And as many know, it's hard to get back that first impression.

Think about your character: What does she desperately want? What would she never do (and why would she never do it)? Then force her to make a choice between the two. (Doesn't have to be dark or scary. Could be funny. So many possibilities!)

Giuseppe's enthusiasm and professionalism is apparent and he really cares about you and your work. He is the perfect person to have in your corner when upleveling your work. So don't even second guess a course with him - do it! You'll be glad you did. 8/8

The ONLY courses I will ever want to take again in the future will be with Giuseppe. His one-on-one help is amazing and will skyrocket your own portfolio and dummies to new heights. 7/8

He's so uplifting, down to earth and I came away from every session with such a huge smile on my face and on a creative endorphin high. Never before have I been - dare I say it - EXCITED about making revisions based on his suggestions haha! 6/8

He delivers his feedback in such a way that covers all the bases and gives you everything - and more! - that you need in order to improve, but in a way that you feel excited and inspired and GREAT about yourself and your work! 5/8

Not only that, but I went into it with my ego deflated and feeling a bit lost after so many years of working away at things and getting seemingly nowhere and enduring harsh critiques. With G, this is not the case at all. 4/8

From the layout, to pacing, to nit-picky help with the wording and flow - even advice regarding submitting to agents! He also gave me ideas for the layout itself before I started it that I wouldn't have even thought of on my own and I'm overjoyed I had his help and expertise. 3/8

I came out of the process with an amazing book dummy in hand, final art pieces & a solid direction of ways to improve my portfolio. Without a shred of a doubt, my dummy is far beyond what I would've produced on my own - not just in regards to illustration - everything! 2/8

I am BLOWN AWAY by Giuseppe of and his course offerings! I went through the 3-in-1 bundle with him and can honestly say that of all the many courses I've taken over the years for children's book illustration this was THE BEST of the best. 1/8

Because 's are short, a small edit can fundamentally change the story. Experiment with craft, motivation, decision, and outcome. What choice provides the most drama, the best humor, the least expected twist?
