Why are you giving this hateful person a platform?

Asian woman here. Anti-Blackness is the fulcrum of white supremacy. Anyone fighting white supremacy, including non-Black people of color, must center Blackness to pose a meaningful challenge.

Bless . How many tenure-track or tenured academics do you think are sharing this while having done all of the, or multiple, things on this list?

I think I actually did one when I was in high school for one of my zines! I'll see if I still have it and if it could be useful.

This sounds amazing. Will there be a way to listen if we can't make it at the scheduled time?

Follow-up: Why is WordPerfect thriving when the superior WORDSTAR has gone the way of the dodo? (Except for George R.R. Martin.)

A growing number government job ads are alering me to the fact that WORDPERFECT is still in use. Is there something I should know about WordPerfect?! I don't think I've heard anyone talk about using it since approximately 1994.

And the fact that you (white person) dislike or look down on the PoC is not a valid reason not to believe them 🙃

i’ve tweeted about this before but this is something i constantly deal with too. it’s aggravating and it’s one of those ways that capitalism impedes major life developments by quietly enabling discrimination. it’s despicable how credit bureaus to act as gatekeepers to identity.

I’ve said it before: psychiatric hospitalization is not the solution to anything except as remedy to discomfort on seeing other people who are suffering. When you do something by force to someone “for their own good,” you are doing harm.

Admittedly struggling with this thread, even as I agree w/ some of it. 1) no analysis of anti-blackness (which so many of us have encountered here); 2) a lot of sessions were under attended across the board; 3) the hotel/airbnb/conf thing happens all over

I stopped using the term "food desert" out of respect for desert Peoples who have thrived for millennia in their territories. What other terms are in use?
