4.4: Hot off the press, another former friend (who I already knew is both a rabid Leaver, and a Trump/Fox News supporter) reckons being called a c**t is wrong if it's Leavers to him, but reckons it's ok if our friend is saying it 'in jest'.

3/4: A long-time friend posts a message labelling anyone who signed the Revoke Article 50 petition as a 'daft c**t who doesn't understand how democracy works'.

2/4: Search Christchurch updates & find viral 'It was CGI/no-one died' conspiracy bullshit that ppl with 2 brain cells would realise is fiction & hugely offensive to victims, families & responders. Many taking it seriously. (This has become common in terrorist attack responses).

Today's social media highlights: 1/4: Accused of behaviour 'typical of some Remainers' by self-identifying 'Remainer' who intends to vote Leave at first opportunity (??) and thinks one million people protesting ain't no big deal.

Thanks to for pointing out that the crowd pic I tweeted was from the October demo, not yesterday. Eek.

Police do assess numbers; I'd have got a damned odd look if I ever submitted a demo report without an estimate of size. But I've never known those assessments to be made public.

The icing on the cake is that not only does this perfectly dissect and expose 's staggering incompetence, lack of knowledge and duplicity, but Raab has underlined the point by describing it as a 'rant'.

Hey , this is outrageous. Refused entry for wearing a sticker? Last thing I would expect from an institution like yourselves. Explain, please. Is this part of a pre-existing policy? Or made up on the day by management or your people on the door?

I will be voting for a confirmatory referendum in the House of Commons next week so that the British people can decide between leaving with a deal or remaining in the EU.

Wow. Civil service believed to be preparing for ‘inevitable’ public inquiry into Brexit. How will history judge you, MPs? What did you do?

Given the numbers, while the vast majority will have voted Remain in '16, there are some who voted Leave. Some of those have tweeted they now want another referendum. Not surprising. The central argument is that the facts about Leave are not as they were presented three years ago

When I voted Leave in 2016 I didn’t think I’d be marching through London with an EU flag one week before Exit Day. You never fully value what you’ve got until it’s about be taken away.
