This is… really ick. 1) didn’t replicate well with human practice 2) a lot more at play in a spatial + digit location recall task than just “memory” 3) the evo tree diagram is NOT made by author, and temporal lobe was not focus

Against all convention this… pop-sci VC promoter (??) has seemingly created his own diagram and put Matsuzawa 2013 on it, when that figure is NOT in the paper which also makes no Broca/Wernicke replacement claims - it discusses differences in prefrontal WM morphology development
