The DC gain for most BJTs are ~100x right? That’s a little low but probably in the right order of mag?

Obviously that’s still PWM and not analog control

I think instead of trying to use the emitter / source to drive, you put the LED on the high current rail directly, and drain / collector the other end

He went on Glenn Beck (he has now deleted this tweet). You know, the public health advocate Glenn Beck — oh wait, no, the antivax conspiracy theorist. That’s the one.

It’s a paper someone with 1) basic bioinformatics training 2) not trying to grift for publicity would have raised an eyebrow, looked at, and NOT tweeted out because extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. The only reason to tweet it is a failure in either 1) or 2).

You'll notice virtually none of those preps are "salads". There's blanching, boiling, stir-fry, grilling, steaming, and endless combination with other vegetables or meats. None are for want of the variety produce. It's just not wanting to only throw raw leaves together in a bowl.

You'll find produce stands with endless variety and an equal variety of supermarket supply. This isn't hipster farmers markets. Food and food varietal is life everywhere.

... do you know any of these vegetables? I picked 4, *just in the aster family*, of hundreds of produce varieties that you can pick up at a market in China you'll have trouble finding in the US, if at all. We in the US eat maybe 3 dozen varieties of vegetables, total.

I mean, there's a bit of a gap between a culture where "salad" is a few regional dishes as a subset of a subset of an endless variation of myriad cold dishes, and ... a culture where "salad" constitutes a full dinner course, entire store department, & basis of restaurant chains
