Kinda? Both narrow and wide-angle cameras were black and white with colour filters in place for analysis, not for the sake of true colour images. But the data could be (and was) used to create colour shots. Unless you consider the filters to be colour cameras? Hence the “kinda.”

Some species of owl have asymmetrical ears at different heights on their head. It allows them to pinpoint the source of sounds in multiple directions!

Owls don’t really have eyeballs... their eyes are tube-shaped and immobile, giving them natural binocular vision. They can really focus on their prey this way, with added depth perception!

Owls can rotate their necks 270 degrees... which in itself is unsettling. And cutting off circulation! They have a blood-pooling system that stores blood to feed their brains and eyes during this extreme neck movement.
