My local bookstore just left me a voicemail saying, "...calling to let you know that we have a book here for you" that I ordered, but my phone transcribed the message as "we have a cure for you" and the transcription error is actually more true.

This morning, I woke up at 4:30am and when I couldn't go back to sleep right away, I got up & fixed a cup of coffee & watched three episodes of Fleabag in a living room I had all to myself. It was delightful.

We feel the same abt you. Also know that even when it's not summer & they're not at camp, they often start conversations/stories saying, "Once Mick told us about..." & everybody in our house knows who they're referring to ❤️❤️❤️

This could be anecdotal, unverified randomness. But I'd rather go with progress (even if one of the boys is her little brother).

For 10yrs now, my daughter's done a summer camp at a local museum called Chicks Rule that covers historic women through the ages. She says in all the times she's gone - both as a student & now as a camp volunteer - she only remembers one boy at the camp. This year there's THREE.

It is shocking to me how little attention outside of , and the media are giving to the fall of FB’s ads manager. You’d think more would be discussing this. Since you know, the entire company is reliant on us spending money....

Oh look, another industry where women earn only $0.77 for every dollar a man makes, even though women account for more than 75% of the influencer community:

Oh man, I'm going to have to read this multiple times. I watched 30 something religiously (I'm 46) & am just now realizing the impact it had on me - I say this fully admitting my wedding song, ray charles come rain or come shine, was taken from the episode when Ellyn got married

Patsy's was a classic, but "You know where you are? You're in the Bardo, Lincoln" remains my favorite

My daughter had a big MJ phase (right after her Boy George phase). At the time she was young enough we didn't have to worry abt her googling him. She listened to the music but we didn't buy her the MJ books she wanted. Now that she's 15 we've had serious convos w her abt him.
