If you revisit the text, I think you’ll find the word in question was “poussin”, which is a young chicken, not a fish.

Tinder photos? Nope. It’s my annual birthday picture. I’m 67 today and happy to be healthy, happy and loved. The yearly photos are incentive to keep exercising.

This has been the problem for a decade. Companies did not need the tax cut you and the GOP so eagerly gave them. They needed (and need) to pay people more, thus stimulating demand. Raising the minimum wage would help, if you’re looking for ideas.

Now it can be told: I'm thrilled to be editing the Collected Didion for Library of America. The first volume, gathering the books of the 1960s and 1970s, comes out in November. Two additional volumes to follow.

For what it’s worth, I don’t think expanding public imagination is a “new style.” It is a return to the Democratic Party that went to the moon, passed the Civil Rights Act, + strove for the Great Society. It’s the politics of courage vanquishing fear;aspiration over desperation.

What an honor, especially coming from Herman Melville’s old stomping grounds. 🐳 (I would have made the whale white, but Twitter doesn’t have skin tone options for marine life yet...)
